Formon Core wins German Design Award

Formon Core has won a German Design Award 2019. The desktop 3D printer is the winner in the Excellent Product Design category (Computer and Communications).

formon coreThe jury praises Formon Core as an “outwardly outstanding trim and simple-to-use desktop 3D printer that reveals the item while it is being printed.”

Rron Cena, founder and CEO of Formon, is delighted with the recognition of the jury. “Because this is exactly what we wanted to create while designing our printer. It gives users the feeling that the 3D printer is creating something almost out of thin air.”

The Formon Core is especially created for architects, designers and engineers. Cena: “Our Formon Core makes 3D printing easy and affordable for everyone. The printer is plug and play, and comes with easy to use software.”

Other winners of this year German Design Award are Toyota, Siemens, and bicyble company Gazelle. The German Design Award identifies and presents unique design trends: a competition that advances the design-oriented scene.
